College Entry Requirements
2012 College Entrants Audition Day to be held on Sunday 29th January 2012, please contact the office on 01622 756644 for further information and an application pack.
Private auditions are held throughout the year, with open auditions in January, February, March and April. Our auditions consist of an informal interview, along with a general class in ballet and jazz, followed by a tap class. The auditioning student will then meet the other students for a Q & A session. In the afternoon, the auditioning student will need a prepared song and monologue and will have an interview with the Heads of Departments. A good general level of dance education is required but the final assessment will be made on the applicant's ability and potential shown at the audition stage.

Smart clothing
Ballet Class
Leotard, pink tights, ballet shoes, skirt optional. Hair should be worn in a bun. No jewellery allowed
Tap Class
Black leotard, black footless tights, tap shoes
Modern / Jazz / Street / Contemporary / Latin
Applicants to dance their own choreographed piece in one of the above styles
Prepared Song
Appropriate clothing, please bring a song (sheet music or backing track)
Prepared Monolouge
Appropriate clothing
